A standing ovation for a great ride! Built in 1996, Mantis is one of the tallest and fastest stand-up roller coasters in the universe. Designed by world-renowned coaster manufacturers, Bolliger and Mabillard (B & M), Monthey, Switzerland, Mantis is a 145-foot-tall, stand-up scream machine.



 

Located across from Millennium Force, this high-tech steel ride turns passengers upside down four times - all while standing up! Guests journey over the 3,900 feet of steel track at speeds of up to 60 mph. In five seasons, Mantis has given more than 7.9 million hair-raising rides.
