Raptor
The inverted loop of the Raptor!

Talk about a menacing bird of prey! Raptor is one of the tallest and fastest inverted roller coasters on the planet and has ruled the sky at Cedar Point since its debut in 1994.

Standing an amazing 137 feet high and flying at a top speed of 57 mph, this green monster takes its passengers upside down six times, including a first-of-its-kind "cobra-roll," a thrilling element that flips passengers over, spirals them upside down into a 180-degree roll and repeats the twisting motion in the reverse order.

Another wildly celebrated creation from the team of Bolliger and Mabillard (B & M), Monthey, Switzerland, Raptor was voted No. 5 in the "Best Steel Roller Coaster" category in a poll conducted by Amusement Today. Since its worldwide debut, 14.6 million guests have "kicked the sky" on Raptor.
